Fire damaged a building at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn this morning.



Fire tore through a building at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn this morning, sending flames skyward – and forcing hundreds of fire officials to the scene.

The fire was reported after 2 a.m. in a non-residential building on the campus, which is located along Willoughby Avenue near the Brooklyn Queens Expressway in Clinton Hill.

Officials issued a fourth alarm due to the severity of the fire.

Nearby residents posted pictures of the fire online – showing heavy flames and thick smoke shooting from the building’s roof.



Firefighters contained the fire by 4 a.m. There’s no word on any injuries.
